I’ve always been excited about drive-thrus.
While they remain a rather mundane part of most peoples’ lives, I think I find them exciting particularly because I don’t know how to drive.
I know Uber lets you order food while you’re taking a ride, but what if it lets you visit drive-thrus and pick up food? The idea would involve allowing riders to select from drive-thrus within a certain radius of their current route, and charge extra based on a combination of distance and time added.
This would definitely increase the trip time for the rider and driver, which is not ideal, but the idea of combining the joy of a scenic drive with the aroma of freshly-made fast food sounds like a match made in drive-thru heaven! 😋
